Race the Train in Alderney Week! The race starts 9:25 (13 yr old and under) and 09:30 for adults on Sat 11 Aug 2012 starting from Braye Station and finishing at Mannez Quarry.

Collect your race number at the start from 09:00

This is a fantastic 2 mile fun race for all the family. Children start 5 minutes before the adults, then at 9:30 am the train whistle blows and it's full steam ahead to the finish at Mannez Quarry via Whitegates, Hammond Memorial and Corbletts Bay....map

Spectators and supporters can ride the train (£2 return or single) and cheer on their runners. Prizes, water and photos at the finish, then a ride back on the train for ticket holders.

Race entry is free, train tickets can be purchased at the start and are limited to 120 - some of which will be standing. The train ride will take about 20 minutes out, 10 minutes back. There will be free lifts back to Braye for anyone without a train ticket.
