April 2013 This year's event will again be for the benefit of the Alderney Animal Welfare Society, a very good cause who look after the animals on our island. Due to high postage costs, race instructions will be sent by email and race numbers collected at the start of the race.
April 2012 This years event will be for the benefit of the Alderney Animal Welfare Society, a very good cause who look after the animals on our island. This year we are including a 5 mile walking and running race for those who found 10 miles too far. The 5 mile races start at the same time and place as the 10 mile races and finish at the same place. May 2011 What a great race! The weather was kind, and some of you have now forgiven me for the little surprise at the end (up the back of Fort Albert). The results and photos are now posted . There were 93 paid entries (82 starters) and we raised around £2000 for the Alderney Community & Sports Centre who provided marshallers and organised a fantastic lunch and hot drinks for all competitors, spectators and supporters. Thanks to all responding to our post race survey which we are conducting to get your feedback and suggestions for the future.
