May 2017 A geat race with a record of over 140 entrants and over £2,000 raised for local charities

May 2016 The weather looks good for the race, with light NW wind, about 14C and cloudy but no rain. Perfect!

April 2016 This year's race will be on the second Bank Holiday in May. Instead of a single charity benefitting, we are inviting 8 local clubs, charities, organisations, churches etc. to enter participants and gain funding. Every penny of the entry fees will go to local organisations plus their own sponsorship efforts.

January 2016 We are delighted to announce that this year's main sponsor will again be Sure Telecoms

February 2014 This year's event will be for the benefit of the Alderney Swimming Pool and Gym project, a much needed facility for our island. Due to high postage costs, race instructions will be sent by email and race numbers collected at the start of the race.

April 2013 This year's event will again be for the benefit of the Alderney Animal Welfare Society, a very good cause who look after the animals on our island. Due to high postage costs, race instructions will be sent by email and race numbers collected at the start of the race.

April 2012 This years event will be for the benefit of the Alderney Animal Welfare Society, a very good cause who look after the animals on our island. This year we are including a 5 mile walking and running race for those who found 10 miles too far. The 5 mile races start at the same time and place as the 10 mile races and finish at the same place. You can now see who has entered here.

May 2011 What a great race! The weather was kind, and some of you have now forgiven me for the little surprise at the end (up the back of Fort Albert). The results and photos are now posted . There were 93 paid entries (82 starters) and we raised around £2000 for the Alderney Community & Sports Centre who provided marshallers and organised a fantastic lunch and hot drinks for all competitors, spectators and supporters. Thanks to all responding to our post race survey which we are conducting to get your feedback and suggestions for the future.
